Rate Guidance
Novum Lux's compensation philosophy based on the reality that groups and organizations have varying degrees of access to capital and proximity to donors/funders with monetary wealth. It also recognizes the value of my experience, time, and labor. Compensation can also be negotiated based on project scope and length, with longer-term or ongoing projects billed at bulk rates. Please do not hesitate to reach out to discuss what you have in mind and your budget.
You are a grassroots group or organization still in its establishing phase. You have under three months of operational reserves, and predominantly serve communities with limited access to monetary wealth to financially support your mission and activities. $75-100/hr
You are an organization that is still in its early stages of growth. You can depend on some reliable support from donors, and/or you receive some meaningful investments of general operating support from funders or public agencies. $105-145/hr
You are an organization or agency with 6+ months of operational reserves, stable operations with a reliable funding base, and public agency contracts or generous foundation grants. This compensatory rate allows me more flexibility to work with groups in the Dreaming & Growing stages. $150-200/hr
